常用的法国葡萄酒术语
除了弄清楚葡萄酒瓶里面装的是什么东西以外,酒标上面还有很多法国葡萄酒的术语。有一些术语在所有的法国酒标上都能看得到,有一些只出现在某些特定产区的酒标上。这里列出一些法国酒标上常见的术语。

Blanc de Blancs: A term for sparkling wines to denote a white sparkling wine made with white grapes. ( Chardonnay in Champagne)
白中白,用于起泡酒。表示这款酒是由的白葡萄酿制而成。
Blanc de Noirs: A term for sparkling wines to denote a white sparkling wine made with black grapes. (Pinot NoirPinot Meunier in Champagne)
表示由黑葡萄酿制而成的白色起泡酒。
Brut: a term for sweetness level in sparkling wine. Brut indicates a dry style.
“Brut” 表示低糖的、干型起泡酒。
Cépage: The grapes used in the wine (Encépagement is the proportions of the blend).
酒里面用的葡萄品种。
Ch?teau: A winery

Clos: A walled vineyard vineyard on the site of an ancient walled vineyard. Commonly used in Burgundy.
有围墙的葡萄园或者是位于古代有围墙葡萄园的葡萄园,常用于勃艮第。
C?tes: Wines a slope hillside (contiguous)–usually along a river (e.g. C?tes du Rh?ne “slopes of the Rh?ne river”)

Coteaux: Wines a grouping of slopes hillsides (non-contiguous) (e.g. Coteaux du Layon “slopes along the Layon river”)

Cuvée: Translates to “vat” “tank” but is used to denote a specific wine blend batch

Grand Vin: Used in Bordeaux to indicate a winery’s “first label” best wine they produce. It’s common for Bordeaux wineries to have a 2nd 3rd label at varying price tiers.

Millésime: The vintage date. This term is commonly used in the Champagne region.

Sur Lie: A wine that is aged on lees (dead yeast particles) which are known to give a creamy/bready tasteincreased body. This term is most commonly found with Muscadet of the Loire.
常出现在卢瓦河谷的 Muscadet,表示一款葡萄酒是在死亡了的酵母菌上面陈酿,使得该款酒变得有奶油面包的味道而且酒体更丰满。
